Mattresses may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer but the width and the length of the mattresses sold on the market today are generally the same. We all know the differences between a twin size bed and a queen size bed. But we need to know the measurements of the mattresses to know what blanket will be a good fit for the bed. All measurements are standard American sizes. The depth of mattresses can vary but standard measurement for depth is 7 inches.
